Founded in 1906, Mizuno is a renowned sporting goods company focusing primarily on baseball, softball, volleyball, running and golf apparel and gear.
Mizuno wanted to increase brand awareness for their tens of thousands of retailers and target higher-converting keywords that their ideal customers are searching for while also increasing traffic and website revenue.
After partnering with Mizuno, the first order of business was auditing the site with Intero Tech and addressing any outstanding issues from the previous agency. From there, we aggressively targeted individual product pages and targeted keywords that were both converting well on paid media and within striking distance of page one (ranked on pages 2-10). In addition, our team consulted on Mizuno’s content strategy to help solidify the new approach.
After resolving some residual issues, we began to see increases in rankings, which eventually led to increases in organic traffic. The road to strong gains was a tedious one, but traffic eventually started to grow. Today, the site is thriving and Mizuno continues to hit lofty revenue growth goals!
